Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians goes on a UNICEF-led mission to Kenya. UNICEF supported schools for displaced children in remote villages and refugee camps offered the mission an opportunity to engage local authorities on important efforts to provide quality education and health care for vulnerable peoples. Her Majesty was accompanied by her daughter, Princess Elisabeth.

The programme has already provided more than 10 million out of school children in 50 countries with access to education.
